These are the window designs Karla Magsalin won for the InterContinental Mark Hopkins Hotel.
The concept for the first window design was inspired by the Peacock Grand Ballroom and it’s stucco pattern for the walls and curtains.
The concept for the second window design was inspired by “Weeper’s Corner,” where wives and girlfriends would watch their significant others sail off during WWII from the hotel’s Top of the Mark.
